Hybrid Lashes
Hybrid lashes are a combination of both Classic Lashes and Volume Lashes. Hybrid Lashes are an excellent choice for you if you either have lots of natural lashes and are looking for a softer, fluffy natural look, or if you are looking for a bit more than what you have and still wanting them to remain more natural in texture and appearance. They are available in a variety of curls and lengths to be customized to suit your preferences.

Volume Lashes
Volume Lashes are the first choice for most clients. These are the eyelashes that will give you the effect of having MORE. They are applied by making self-made fans out of the extensions that are applied to each of your natural lashes. They are extremely soft, fluffy and pliable, similar to your natural lashes. They are available in a variety of curls and lengths and fans can be customized to suit your preferences.

Eyelash Lift
Eyelash Extensions not for you? The Eyelash Lift will give your natural lashes a curl that lasts, no more need for damaging eyelash curls. Add a tint to the procedure to enhance the effect of your Lash Lift. The effect of this procedure will last 6-8 weeks, but can vary from person to person.

Is any preparation required before my Eyelash appointment?I ask that you please do your best to arrive to your appointment without eye makeup on. Do not curl your natural lashes the day before or the day of your appointment. Following these requests will help minimize the pre-clean time and optimize retention.

What type of lashes do your use?All the lashes used at Extendable Beauty are synthetic mink lashes. Our lashes are the softest and most natural feeling available in the industry. Most commonly used are the shiny ultra-black which gives you’re a beautiful bold look. Also available are chocolate which are equally as beautiful with a softer look. There is a variety of curls and lengths available to suit your preferences.

Will my natural lashes get damaged if I wear extensions?If Eyelash extensions are applied by a trained professional with proper application and isolation, with the proper length and weight suitable for your natural lashes and you follow recommended aftercare they will not damage your natural lashes. Your natural lashes have a cycle of falling out and growing, as your extensions are attached to your natural lashes they will follow the same cycle. If you decide to remove your extensions your natural lashes will have the appearance of being shorter and sparser as you have grown used to a full set of longer lashes.

How long does it take to apply eyelash extension?The application process will be dependent on how many natural lashes you have. The initial application time can range for 1-2 hours and fills from 45min – 1.5hrs.

How long will my Eyelash Extensions last and how often will I require fills?Depending on your natural lash cycle and your aftercare routine, retention may vary from time to time. In order to maintain and full look of your lashes it is recommended that they be filled every 2-3 weeks.

Can I get my lashes wet?It is recommended that you do not get your lashes wet for the first 24 hours after application to allow the adhesive to fully cure after which they will be waterproof. However, frequent and excessive moisture can reduce the retention of your lashes, ie./daily hot tub or steam room, daily swimming, etc.

I have heard stories of allergic reactions to eyelashes, should I be worried?"Although allergic reactions are rare they do occasionally happen. Generally it is more common of occurring in people who have other sensitivity and allergies. Clients who develop allergic reactions to eyelash adhesives will typically experience swelling and itching of the eyelids within 72 hours of application. If you are concerned we will gladly do a patch test with you 72 hrs before full application.

Is there Formaldehyde in your adhesive?No, having Formaldehyde as an ingredient in lash adhesives is actually a myth. Formaldehyde can be formed as a by-product in all lash adhesives if they are given time to degrade and during the curing process, but the amount is so trace that all adhesives are considered Formaldehyde free.

Can I choose any length I want and any style I want?Eyelash extension length should never exceed 50% of your natural lashes to save the health and integrity of your natural lashes. There are a number of different patterns that can be achieved with eyelash extensions, however some of them can be retained much easier than others. Before application these options will be discussed with you and I will always go as long as I possibly can without compromising the health of your natural lashes if you wish. You are more than welcome to bring pictures with you of the look you are wanting to achieve and I will do my best to fulfill your requests.

How do I properly care for my new Eyelash Extensions?Do not get your lashes wet for 24 hrs after application It is recommended to not go tanning, steam room, Hot tub or Hot Yoga for 24hrs after application. Do not use any store bought mascara or eyelash curlers on your Lash Extensions Try to avoid liquid Eyeliner as this causes build up in the base of your lashes and can compromise retention and possibly cause infection. Always use Oil-free make up remover and products while wearing Eyelash Extensions Do not glue on strip lashes while you are wearing Eyelash Extensions, there is the potential of getting strip lash adhesive on your lashes and they will have to be removed and reapplied as a new set Do not rub your lashes or pull at them, you run the risk of pulling out your natural lashes before there natural cycle. After the initial 24 hrs do not be afraid to get your lashes wet. It is very important to keep your lashes clean to avoid bacteria growth and potential infection. There are many products on the market that can clean your lashes without compromise, ask me which ones I carry.
